How CollectAIO handles data.

This policy explains how CollectAIO collects and uses information for the website and mobile app.

Information We Collect

  • -Search queries and item interactions, including searches submitted, results viewed, item pages opened, related items opened, collection actions, and watchlist actions.
  • -Account information, including email address and account/session identifiers when you sign in with an email code.
  • -Collection and watchlist data that you choose to save, including saved items, item watches, watch targets, and related account activity.
  • -Collection valuation checkpoints and change explanations, including the value shown at a point in time, pricing basis, confidence changes, and price questions you submit. These records are private to your account and authorized service operators.
  • -Private-item content that you choose to save, including an item name, optional category and notes, and optional estimated value.
  • -Usage and analytics data, including app or browser surface, event names, timestamps, item identifiers when applicable, a random first-party mobile installation identifier, and an app session identifier used for analytics grouping.
  • -Collectible photos that you choose to take or select for Item Scanner, plus product text and identity clues extracted from those photos.
  • -For signed-in Pro users who start Live Rip: the selected Pokémon set and language, optional product name and purchase cost, staged catalog matches, confirmed card variants, and the still card photos captured after the user taps the capture button. Live Rip does not record video or audio.

Private Items

  • -Private items are visible to your account and authorized Collect AIO moderators who may need access for support, safety, security, or service operations.
  • -Private items are not added to the public Collect AIO catalog, global search, autocomplete, public profiles, or public activity. Private item names and notes are not copied into product analytics events.
  • -If you later choose to submit a private item to the public catalog, the approved catalog item may become public. Your identity, private notes, and request or private-item activity remain private unless you separately choose to share them.

How We Use Information

  • -To provide search, item detail, collection, watchlist, account, and support features.
  • -To identify possible matches in the existing CollectAIO catalog when you use Item Scanner. Scanner results are suggestions that you confirm; they do not create catalog items or set prices.
  • -To stage card matches during a Live Rip session, show catalog-based raw values, and add only the cards and variants that you confirm to your collection.
  • -To understand which product areas are useful, improve search quality, diagnose issues, and prioritize product work.
  • -To send email-code sign-in messages and service-related account emails.
  • -To send collection-change email or push notifications that you enable, and to open the relevant private collection activity when you tap a notification.
  • -To store private collection lenses, saved views, and value-alert rules for your account. Search text is not included in product analytics events.
  • -To protect the service from abuse, troubleshoot reliability problems, and maintain the security of CollectAIO.

Mobile App Permissions

  • -Item Scanner requests camera access only when you choose Take a photo. You may also use the iOS photo picker to select an existing collectible photo. CollectAIO does not request contacts, location, microphone, Bluetooth, HealthKit, or App Tracking Transparency permissions.
  • -Push notification permission is requested only after you choose Enable push notifications in Account. A device push token is stored with your account so CollectAIO can send meaningful collection-change and request-resolution alerts; you can disable notifications in iOS Settings.
  • -Live Rip requests camera access after you start a session and uploads only a still image when you tap Capture card. The live camera preview stays on your device; CollectAIO does not record or upload video or audio.
  • -The selected photo is uploaded to CollectAIO and sent to an AI service provider solely to identify possible catalog matches. CollectAIO purges its attached copy after processing. Our API provider does not use API inputs or outputs for model training by default and may retain API content for limited safety and abuse-monitoring purposes under its data controls.
  • -The iOS app stores a random first-party installation identifier and the verified native session token in Expo SecureStore. The installation identifier is used only for CollectAIO product analytics, and the session token is sent only for authenticated app requests.
  • -The iOS app may cache your latest private collection activity and per-collection lens settings inside the app sandbox. Those caches are removed when you sign out.

Data Portability

  • -Signed-in users can export grouped collection CSV, one-row-per-unit CSV, or a private backup ZIP. The backup includes a manifest and SHA-256 checksums so you can verify its contents.
  • -Private backups can contain collection values, inventory identifiers, notes, activity, and request history. Store exported files securely; files downloaded to your device are outside CollectAIO control.

Tracking And Advertising

  • -CollectAIO does not sell personal information.
  • -The CollectAIO iOS app does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not track users across third-party apps or websites.
  • -The website and app may use first-party product analytics to understand product usage and improve the service.

Sharing

  • -We use service providers to host, operate, measure, and support CollectAIO. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to CollectAIO.
  • -When you use Item Scanner, an AI service provider processes the selected photo and returns product identity clues. CollectAIO does not opt in to use scanner photos for model training.
  • -We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Data Choices

  • -You can use CollectAIO search without creating an account.
  • -You can choose not to save collection or watchlist items.
